DKV Mobility acquires Port One Estonia, State Port Group Lithuania and Port One Polska
The mobility service provider DKV continues its growth strategy. With Port One Estonia, State Port Group in Lithuania and Port One Polska, the Ratingen-based company signs an agreement to acquire three companies that are renowned fuel card specialists and leading suppliers of comprehensive fueling solutions. Thereby, DKV further strengthens its market presence and customer base in the Baltics as well as in Poland.

Both parties have agreed not to disclose further details of the transaction.
Port One (Port One Group) says it has signed an agreement on cooperation and interaction with D.N. Senyavin Marine Technical College.
The agreement provides for implementation of joint scientific and educational projects as well as training of qualified personnel for the companies of Port One Group.
The College students will be able to undertake an internship and to work out their skills at one of the Group’s stevedoring and logistic companies. In the conditions of a functioning company, they will obtain a realistic view of their future profession and the specifics of the port industry.
That partnership will let the College ensure employment of its best students while Port One Group will be able to reinforce its staff with committed and well-proved specialists.
The agreement signing is yet another step of the company’s cooperation with industry focused educational institutions. Port One Group earlier signed an agreement on cooperation with Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping.
D.N. Senyavin Marine Technical College is a higher vocational education institution established in 1957 to train qualified specialists for sea and river transport.
As of today, technical facilities of the College include three modern buildings with classes, special rooms, laboratories, workshops, computer simulators of shipboard navigation and power equipment; training ranges; sport and fighting areas; a swimming pool, stadiums with artificial turf, a boat base, a high-speed motor yacht and training sail ship Yuny Baltiyets.
From 2010, the College has been functioning as the municipal resource center.

The Agreement provides for joint scientific and educational projects as well as supply of skilled personnel to the Group’s companies
On 22 March 2022, Port One (Port One Group) and Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping (University) signed an Agreement on Cooperation and Interaction. The Agreement provides for joint scientific and educational projects as well as supply of skilled personnel to Port One Group’s companies.
The Agreement foresees an opportunity of practical training, both academic and job training, including pre-graduation internship, at the premises of the Group’s companies; joint activities on career guidance for students; involvement of port workers in the teaching process; assistance in employment of the best students; training of the University teachers at the companies of Port One Group, organization of employer-sponsored education, etc.
The document was signed by Sergey Baryshnikov, Rector of Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping, and Andrei Iaroslavtsev, Managing Director of Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg JSC, one of Port One Group’s companies.
– One of the key activities of the Group’s companies is attraction of young and ambitious personnel and I see a potential of interaction with the University in this respect. The University has an enormous scientific potential. I have first-hand knowledge of that as I was educated here. Therefore, I am sure about the new prospects opened for the Group’s companies and the University thanks to this cooperation, – said А. Iaroslavtsev.

Strengthened relationship will be beneficial for both sides. The port will get new opportunities in terms of personnel issues and enrichment of educational programmes with practices preparing the future graduates for the real specifics of the industry while the teachers will be able to stay up to date with the production process to help their students be aware of career opportunities and employment.
As part of the event activities, Andrei Iaroslavtsev, Managing Director of Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg JSC, visited the Navy and Academy History museum and made a note in a book of honored guests.
